“Spring into Strategic Planning”
Hear an update on the ADA
and NJDA Strategic Planning Initiatives, and learn how to
develop a strategic plan for meeting your own professional

“Fiber, Prebiotics, and Probiotics-A 21st Century Approach to
Bowel Management”
This session describes the challenges
clinicians face when managing bowel regimens of patients, and
provides new information on the influence of fiber, prebiotics
and probiotics upon bowel regulation. (1 hour)
“Diagnosis and Treatment of Dysphagia in Long Term Care”
Walk
through the process of a dysphagia evaluation, diagnosis, and
treatment plan by a speech language pathologist (SLP), including
the signs and symptoms of both dysphagia and aspiration, common
diagnoses concomitant with dysphagia, a routine bedside
evaluation, a video fluoroscopic exam, and prescription of
dietary modifications.(2 hours)
